SCAN is a non-profit group that provides a forum in which to meet with astrologers in the Southern California region who want to share and learn about in-depth astrological perspectives. SCAN was founded by Laura DesJardins on May 14, 1986 at 7:30 pm. SCAN offers monthly lectures to its members and guests. Speakers of international, national and local merit impart their specialized astrological research and experience. The materials presented in these monthly lectures appeal to professional astrologers, and non-professionals who understand the technical terms associated with astrology and enjoy social networking to discuss a variety of topics using astrological concepts and techniques.
